During the initial years of adjusting to a new country and learning a new language, most refugees are also in need of essentials such as food, housing, healthcare, education, and many others. Our Social Services and Support provide intake and assessment, direct assistance, and connections or referrals to help individuals and their families to meet their basic needs. This allows them to focus on becoming more independent and self-sufficient. Connection and support to the community members who speak their language and understand social systems is a cornerstone of our work. We are dedicated to improve social services and make them more responsive to the needs of the immigrant population we serve.
Individuals who wish to apply for assistance can call our phone line: 425-430-8229.
